Mercury Analyzers

The laboratory is equipped with two state-of-the-art mercury analyzers: the Tekran Series 2600 and the Leco Advance Mercury Analyzer (AMA). The former is one of the most sensitive mercury system available today with sensitivity measured in parts-per-quadrillion. It employs dual stage gold preconcentration with atomic fluorescence detection. The later (AMA) allows for direct analysis of samples through combustion, gold trapping, and atomic absorption technology.
