My duties primarily involve analytical chemistry work related to trace and ultra-trace elemental analyses of environmental samples using ICP-MS. I also help trouble-shoot, repair, and maintain laboratory instruments. Recently, I have been conducting research investigating the use of ICPMS for the rapid measurement of long-lived radionuclides in collaboration with scientists from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
