ICP-MS - Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometers

Inductively Coupled Argon Plasma

Axiom

This double focusing magnetic sector ICP-MS has the ability to remove interferences by resolving the spectra with high resolution. Resolving powers on the order of 10,000 can be used to completely separate out complex interfering species (e.g., ⁴⁰Ar³⁵Cl from ⁷⁵As). In addition, the Axiom is equipped with multiple detectors that allow isotope ratio determination with very high precision (RSD <0.01%). Detection limits for most elements are less than 1 ppt (pg/g).

This quadropole-based ICP-MS is outfitted with a Dynamic Reaction Cell (DRC)

Time of Flight (ICP-MS)

Capable of measuring the entire elemental spectrum in fast transient signals. It is often used coupled to our laser-ablation system.
